My first day!

Yeah, it was my first day too. :) A new school as well, because it's now middle school..... It is WAYYYYYYYYYYYY different that elementary, actually. We have lockers now (that are annoyingly narrow) and more teachers. I haven't met all of them yet.

I though it would be different; a new challenge. I know it's only the first day, but we played this word game with our names: we had to see how many words we could make with our name, and our partners. I came first in the class, with 28 words..... second place was my friend K with 16 words.... Now everyone has been staring awkwardly in class from time to time.... and I'm falling into the NERD clique, and what makes it worse is that I'm wearing my glasses more of the time. At least no one is making fun of me :)

Stay tuned for more to come.

OMG!

OMG, guys! Today was the first day of my new school! I'm now in 7th grade {Year 8 in England}, and everything is completely different! For one, my entire grade is around 300-400 people, the size of my old elemetary, middle, and high schools put together! In total, there are around 3000-4000 kids, and loads of teachers. I, for one, got lost. *blushes* I have to walk there and back, which takes around 20 minutes each, and I have to wear a *horrendous* uniform. A white blouse, tailored black skirt/pants, icky black tights, black polishable shoes, a black and purple striped tie (yes, TIE!) with red anchors on it, and an itchy blue sweater which we are NOT allowed to take off, EVER. My schedule is hectic, and my French teacher is evil. *sighs* Oh, well. Wish me luck, guys!

Stupid school.

Oh well. At least my birthday is in 7 days already! Yay! I'm turning 11. (Going into Grade 6)

On Saturday we got a lot of rain from hurricane Earl. I took some pictures. Enjoy! Unfortunately my camera's battery ran out -__-

I like how the raindrops go in the same way. It looks cool. It was very heavy and loud though.

The hard raindrops make the cement look squishy.
I love how the water flows over the rocks like this!!!
Haha. The water falling out the drain pipe.
...... :)
I hope you enjoyed that! I'll see you all later I guess. Also I updated my profile. check it out!
I also now have 1000 views!!! Thank you to everyone who looks at my profile!!! :) :) :)
Bye now.

Melodies

Have you ever listened to your iPod or MP3 Player and thought, "Wow, this is really inspiring"? I know I have. Which is why I can't live without music. A life without music would be a life without songs and laughter, happiness and expression, without harmonies and melodies. Birds wouldn't sing. Never again would you hear the gurgle of a stream, or the rumble of thunder. Music is everywhere. You just have to look.

One of my favorite bands is Linkin Park. Their song 'Leave Out All The Rest' is my current theme song. It's about saying goodbye...which is what many of you know I had to do when I left my homestate of Maryland and moved to England. Coldplay, Taylor Swift, and Owl City have also inspired me.

Peace. Love. Music. What the world couldn't live without.

[Sorry about the whole depressing-mood thing, I'm just a little worn out and emotional this evening. My new school starts on the seventh, and I'm practically chewing my fingers off. Wish me luck!]
